Kolby Jones - Valley High School

Kolby Jones - Valley High School

My name is Kolby Jones and I attend Valley High School. People would describe me as funny, helpful, and hard-working. My hobbies include: hanging out with my favorite people, learning how to skateboard, and playing with my two dogs. My plan after graduation has not been fully decided, but I am hoping I can join a branch of the military and do college through the branch. Although I am unsure how the training and schooling works together, it should work out well and I can find a good career using the education from the military. My favorite food right now has to be Dairy Queen’s honey barbecue chicken strips. A random fact about me is that I draw quite a bit. I don’t draw as much as I used to, but people tell me I am not too bad. I normally draw characters from whatever show I am into at the time. But not a lot of people know that I dropped it at all, let alone pretty good. I don’t have any crazy hidden talents, but I am pretty good at throwing snacks into the air and catching them with my mouth. Although this might not sound like a talent at all, it gets the crowd going. If I could have any superpower, I would choose superspeed. Superspeed would be very helpful in many different situations and I really liked the superhero The Flash as I was growing up. My senior year I am hoping to become the ASB vice president with my good friend as the president, I also want to keep my grades up and make time for friends and family as well, and I want to continue working through the school year if I can manage it. As I did running start, I didn’t get to make too many high school memories per se. But I had all the same classmates throughout my education, so I’m going to count middle school and Elementary as well. I always loved riding bikes with my friends to the school to play games. I miss playing “Tip” or “3-point” an old basketball game that everyone wanted to play, we would’ve played all day if we could. I also like the adventures my friends and I have gone on outside of school. I am trying my best to make the most of my high school experience with my classmates. Some advice for upcoming seniors would be to have fun, but keep your grades up they’re more important than you might think. If you do running start it is going to be a bit of a challenge but pretty worth it in my opinion. I am hoping to gain some confidence and memories with Chanté and all the other amazing senior reps she chose. It has already been extremely enjoyable.

Elissa Sedy - Raymond High School

Elissa Sedy - Raymond High School

My name is Elissa Sedy and I attend Raymond High School. If someone had to describe me in 3 words they would say: kind, emotional & energetic. My top 3 favorite hobbies are traveling, hanging out with friends, and writing songs. After graduation, I want to attend the University of Washington and study Business or go to a college and do something film related. My favorite dish would have to be the chicken gnocchi soup from Olive Garden. My favorite place to travel to is Hawaii. I went viral on an app called TikTok. I want to live in California one day. I absolutely love music. My favorite ice cream is chocolate with peanut butter. My hidden talent is singing. I don’t sing that much in front of people because I don’t want them to think I’m a show off. If I could have any superpower, it would be the ability to transport myself anywhere. I chose this because I would like the ability to see the world whenever I want. It would also be helpful to get to places faster. What I hope to do for my senior year is focus on school, have fun, and make the best out of my last year of high school. My favorite memories so far in high school would have to be cheerleading for football and basketball my junior year. I also loved playing Uno in my classes even though I rarely win. My advice to the class below me is to not give up when things get hard. Don’t stress too much and make sure to have fun, but be responsible. What I hope to gain from Chantè’s senior rep program is to make new friends, see cool new places around our area, growing my modeling experience, and help to grow Chantè’s photography business.

Thanh Lukinich - Raymond High School

Thanh Lukinich - Raymond High School

My name is Thanh Lukinich and I attend Raymond High School. People would describe me as loyal, simple, and chill. My hobbies include playing games, watching anime, and listening to music. I am still unsure about my plans after graduation, but my destination is full of family and love. My favorite dish is curry! Random facts to share about me is I love traveling and memes. I smile a lot, sometimes too much and I won’t hate you. I talent I have is singing. If I had an superpower it would be the power to teleport because I'm too lazy to fly anywhere. During my senior year I hope to make it the best school year of my life. The best memories in school usually involved choir, sports, and the last days of school. Because of choir I got the opportunity to travel to N.Y. When it came to sports I either played or watched, but both sides are amazing. I don't think I need to explain the last one. Be sure to focus on your credits and community service, they will sneak up on you. I hope to gain some confidence and fun memories from Chante's senior rep program!

Stevandre Lenoir - Raymond High School

Stevandre Lenoir - Raymond High School

My name is Stevandre Lenoir, but I go by Stevi too. People would describe me as funny, caring, and honest. My hobbies include binging good series on Netflix & Hulu, going on walks and hikes with my dog Mowgli, and spending time with friends. After I graduate I plan to transfer from GHC to a university here in Washington and eventually become a physical therapist. I love a lot of food but my favorite would either have to be Alfredo pasta or an African dish called Attiéké with fish. Random facts about me is my dad immigrated here from Abidjan Côte d’Ivoire and I have 28 aunts and uncles that live all around the world. My hidden talent is I can catch M&M’s pretty decently and I can tie a cherry stem with my tongue. If I had any super power it would be to teleport because of how convenient it would be to get places and back. During my senior year I hope to learn a lot and make tons of memories with my friends before we all move away. My favorite memories from high school all are from after my friends and I got our cars. I love going on trips with my friends places and even small drives around the backroads catching up have created some of my best memories of high school. My advice to the class of 2022 is to enjoy your last years of school and try to your best to make memories you’ll happily look back on. I hope to gain more confidence during the photo shoots and new experiences.

Hannah Rumbles - Raymond High School

Hannah Rumbles - Raymond High School

My name is Hannah Rumbles and I attend Raymond High School. People would describe me as caring, passionate, and responsible. I enjoy cheerleading, dancing, writing, and reading. I also enjoy traveling and exploring new places and things. Ideally, I would like to travel and see more of the world. I love adventures and think it would be so much fun to go see more of this beautiful planet. I plan on attending a 4 year university. I will likely be going into something under the business branch. Picking a favorite food is almost impossible, but if I had to choose I would probably say rice. There’s so many different ways you can eat it! A random fact is I went on my first trip out of the country in December of 2019. I was able to travel to London with some of my closest friends to be a part of the London New Year’s Day Parade. We were a part of the Varsity All-American Cheerleaders. I loved every second of the trip and will always cherish those memories. Something not many people know about me is that I am able to guess almost any Disney song in just a few seconds. It’s super silly but I actually make my family mad sometimes! If I had a super power, it would be the ability to teleport. That way, I would be able to go anywhere I wanted at any time without having to pay for a plane ticket or waste time. During my senior year, I hope to make lots of memories and genuinely enjoy every second of it. I want to have fun and do as much as I possibly can. Some of my favorite memories of high school so far have been cheerleading, dances, spirit weeks, and being on ASB. I also really enjoyed Mr Abbott’s history class my junior year, and our whole class updating him every morning on what we had for dinner! My advice to the class of 2022 is to work hard. Work hard even when you want to give up. As much as people may think that keeping your grades up and staying on top of your homework may not matter, it does. Most of all though, have fun! Do things that make you happy and help you thrive. I hope to gain confidence and friendships. I truly believe this will be an experience that will make me a better person and further grow my self confidence!

Theron Hamlin - Raymond High School

Theron Hamlin - Raymond High School

My name is Theron Hamlin and I currently attend Raymond High School and do running start at GHC. People would describe me as friendly, open, and curious. My three hobbies would be playing guitar, playing video games, and socializing with close friends. After I graduate I plan on taking in my last moments with my friends and do some traveling, and after that begin college where I'll jump around some fields. Hopefully work on spaceships because why not. My favorite food has to be hot wings or traditional ramen. A few random facts are I like rock climbing a lot but I don't go often, my favorite holiday has to be Halloween because of scary movies, and I'm a terrible cook. My hidden talent is improvising when it comes to presenting something. It's not flashy but surprisingly handy. If I had a superpower it would be to control elements. I'd choose this because this would practically make me the Avatar. And plus let's say you're on a cute date and it starts to rain, like am I going to fly away or turn invisible... nooo I'm going to part the rain from hitting her. My senior year I hope to appreciate my time with my friends and become a more independent person overall. I want to make projects with people like setting up a podcast with my friends, or planning the best senior prank. My favorite memory in high school was when me and my three close friends (who I consider family) went on a small hike to a waterfall. It wasn't anything grand or insane like some other memories but it was spontaneous. I remember it just being us four weirdos laughing and singing, not worrying about anything really. It felt really freeing. My advice to an upcoming senior is fill in the gaps of the other side of you. If you only focus on academics then get out a little more and get uncomfortable. And if you go out all the time then maybe try focusing on something in school that you usually procrastinate. Doing this just makes a more well rounded person. By doing Chante’s program I hope to achieve the same thing that I said before about being a more well rounded person. It should throw me outside my comfort zone, but by doing so I hope to learn about a skill I've never had.
