FAQs
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?
YES! I am willing to travel anywhere. I love new adventures and would be happy to join you in any city, state, or country to document your special day. I am quite the adventurous person to even hike in the mountains for a stunning shot. Traveling fee may apply.
HOW MANY HOURS OF COVERAGE?
Every wedding is unique in styling + timing, therefore the amount of coverage that you need may vary from someone else's needs and that is why I offer packages with different hourly coverage! My preferred amount of coverage and my most frequently booked collection includes eight hours. Eight hours gives me the perfect amount of time to thoroughly tell the story of your wedding day without feeling rushed. IF you think you need more or less time, let's chat!
WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
My gear includes a professional Nikon body, a variety of lenses + external lighting equipment. I mostly carry with me my 20mm lens. However, I bring my camera bag with all my gear just in case I need to switch my lens out for the perfect shot!
HOW WILL WE RECEIVE OUR FINAL IMAGES?
All weddings + lifestyle sessions are delivered through an online gallery for easy viewing, sharing with friends + family, and downloading. Lifestyle sessions take about 2 weeks to be processed and weddings can take up to 4 - 12 weeks. This all depends on how any sessions or weddings I will be doing around the time I photograph yours.
DO YOU OFFER ALBUMS OR PRINTED IMAGES?
Unfortunately, I don’t. I provide my clients with a print release for printing purposes and a private online gallery to download images that can also be shared with family and friends. For weddings, I do gift my clients something special though. :)
WHY DO YOU INCLUDE A COMPLIMENTARY ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
An engagement session is a great idea for so many reasons! Not only does the session allow all three of us to bond and get to know each other in preparation for your wedding day, but it gives you guys a chance to warm up to me taking your pictures. Another perk of doing an engagement session is that I get to see how you two interact which gives me a better idea of how best to work with you on your wedding day.
DO YOU PHOTOSHOP?
I don’t. I CAN tell you that I’m able to remove blemishes such as pimples, unwanted moles and scars. Photoshop is a program I don’t use. I only use Lightroom.
DO YOU PICK A LOCATION?
I usually choose a location if it’s not mentioned in the initial inquiry. I ask what kind of vibe you are going for. Then, I offer suggestions. However, it isn’t my call. This is your session that you are paying me for. I want it to be everything you want for it to be!
HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?
Once you have secured a date + venue (weddings) we can move forward with booking! To reserve your day with me I require a signed contract and 50% of the retainer fee. Typically, I meet with my clients at a local coffee shop! I am more of a tea or boba person, but I would treat you to coffee.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH ELOPEMENTS?
I do offer a package for couples who want to elope instead of doing a big ceremony and reception. My elopement packages start at $2,000. It all depends on when and where. Send me a message for more information. I’d love to talk about it more in details.
CAN I HAVE THE RAW IMAGES?
Sorry, but no. I never give out the unedited pictures. They are not a representative of my final work as a photographer if I give them to someone to edit. I don’t accept any offers who anyone asking to pay extra for the raw images either. It’s a solid no for me unfortunately.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAIN?
Let’s go with it! I understand that most people don’t enjoy being wet and cold while being photographed, so if it’s coming down pretty steadily, I usually try to reschedule to my next available date. I do like to wait until the day of the shoot to make the final call though since weather can be so unpredictable! As long as it’s light rain, I’m usually happy to shoot in it! I also have a clear umbrella for those moody + romantic shots for couples too.
